In Dawn of the Dragon Racers, Hiccup wears a similar type of his armor which is dark brown along a long-sleeve dark green tunic with brown arm brackets. He is now wearing a light brown vest and boot. This most likely shows that he is sixteen. If you look closely, you'll notice that his hair has slightly grown between Riders of Berk and Defenders of Berk.
